Principal, Evan D. Rogers

Evan Rogers is a Principal of Antigua Properties. He oversees the day-to-day operations and growth of the company and identifies and forges business and investor opportunities and partnerships.

Evan handles the market research, studies, and analyses to provide informed decisions on matters of project design, feasibility, and market positioning with the greatest of integrity and the highest standards. He is a member of the Phoenix Realtors Association, and is an active Realtor licensed in Arizona. Evan recognizes and provides thoughtful solutions for Antigua and its investors by keeping the pulse of real estate acquisition and land development projects that prioritize giving back to the communities where they are developed and built and align with Antigua’s mission and vision.

An eyewitness to the growth and development of its communities since 1978, Evan knows the Valley of the Sun. Evan has lived in Tempe since 1997. He earned his Industrial Engineering degree from ASU (Go Devils!) in 2002 and has just been accepted to ASU’s prestigious Masters in Real Estate Development (MRED) program for 2022-2023 school year. Evan has spent his entire career in consultancy, sales and marketing, and operations. He has shaped business processes working alongside seasoned business owners, partners, and start-ups. Evan’s passion for serving others was passed down from his father and has been a personal driving force for most of his life shaping who he has become.

Simply put, he cares. He cares by the way that he attends to the people he serves. Married to an educator of 25 years and raising four school-aged children together has inspired Evan to carve out the necessary time to serve and lead in his church community, to coach in local city leagues, and to serve on several boards that support communities, youth, and education. Evan recruits volunteers for Tempe Cares, leads fundraising efforts for Tempe Impacts Education (TIE) Foundation, and was elected to serve a term on the local school board for his local Tempe Elementary School District.

Evan's faithful optimism and knack for seeing challenges as opportunities is extraordinary. He applies this perspective fully to all facets of his life, be it his professional endeavors in real estate development, mentoring others, serving his community, or playing (sailing, mountain biking, trail running, or playing golf, to name just a few). He always finds the energy and resources to pay it forward each summer in directing multiple youth leadership surf camp retreats in San Diego through a foundation he started in 2007 called Lucky Sevan (L7) that has served thousands of teenaged young men and women. His business partner Barry Edholm is a crucial member of the L7 board and the foundation is working to expand to Cocoa Beach, Florida, and filming a documentary to help support international expansion to impact more and more lives around the world.

At the age of 18, Evan drove his vehicle from Arizona to Valdez, Alaska, and back over a 6-month period. This adventure planted in him a seed that would grow in him the desire to branch out. In 1993 he chose to live abroad in Buenos Aires, Argentina, for two years which helped Evan develop an authentic love of land and real estate, culture, food, people, and travel. His resulting Spanish fluency was also a valuable asset. Evan has continued to travel and work with many international clients developing an established network of trusted professionals throughout Europe, Asia, Australia, and North and South America.

All these experiences over the years, coupled with his work in consultancy and running a business serving real estate high net-worth individuals the last decade have taught Evan the valuable skill of asking the right questions and listening sensibly to his clients. In turn, he skillfully invites all the right partners together to negotiate the right deals to effectively serve all parties. This skill set has not only helped Evan understand what his clients need but also has given him the ability to provide his clients the highest level of service they would expect from a boutique developer like Antigua Properties.
